Our Culture
How we walk this Jesus life.
Simply following Jesus together.
Following Jesus is something we learn to do with our whole lives. Not just on Sundays. Not just in a building. It is the way we learn to love, forgive, listen, serve, celebrate, work things out, make room for people, and become more free.
Life
We believe life is meant to be lived.
God is good. His love changes people.
Jesus is alive, and worth following. The Holy Spirit is present.
People can heal. Families can become rich and whole.
Following Jesus should bring life.
We laugh.
We eat together.
We make music loudly.
We tell stories.
We celebrate.
We have fun.
Real
We choose real over impressive.
We don't need to have everything figured out to belong here.
We make room for questions, struggles, unfinished stories, and honest conversations.
We listen.
We share.
We let ourselves be known.
We don't pretend.
When something needs to be worked out, we work it out.
Together
We believe we are better together.
Following Jesus isn't a solo project.
We gather, we connect, we eat, we pray. We show up for one another in friendship and encouragement, and we keep choosing community.
We don't just attend the same church. We learn to share a life.
People
We put people before performance.
We notice people. We learn names. We make room.
Children are seen and heard here.
Every life is worth something. No one is beyond hope.
Love becomes practical through kind deeds.
Generosity
We serve because love moves outward.
Generosity includes our time, our attention, our resources, and our serving.
We don't serve people as a transaction, to get something from them or from God. We serve because we are learning to love God.
You can never be too generous with love.
Spirit-Led
We make room for the Holy Spirit.
We listen. We pray. We pay attention.
We don't need to control every moment.
We want to know Jesus more deeply, and to become people who carry His life wherever they go.
Relationships
We believe marriage, family and friendship are places where Jesus is learned.
Our closest relationships are where faith gets practical. Being seen and known. Honesty and safety. Vulnerability, forgiveness, repair, and growing together.
Healthy relationships take courage. Ours are worth it.
Love needs practice.
Beyond the building
We bring this life with us.
Culture isn't something that only happens at church. Most of this life is walked out somewhere else entirely.
At home.
At work.
At school.
Around the dinner table.
In a difficult conversation.
When nobody is watching.
When someone needs help.
When we disagree.
When life hurts.
When we have something to celebrate.
Real faith should become real life.
Becoming
We are becoming.
More free.
More whole.
More alive.
More like Jesus.
More connected to one another.
Simply following Jesus together.
We love God.
We gather family.
We build community.
We keep learning how to walk this Jesus life, together.
