Jesus isn't simply teaching people to give. He's forming people whose lives increasingly reflect the generosity of the Father. Generosity isn't about losing something. It's about discovering a different way to live.

From the beginning, humanity has been tempted to believe there isn't enough — so we learn to hold tightly, protect, and control.
Jesus introduces a completely different way of living. One rooted in the confidence that our Father is generous.
Because of that, we are free to become generous too.
The Father's heart
Generosity begins with God.
Before God ever asked anyone to give, He gave.
Life. Creation. Grace. Forgiveness. His Son.
We don't become generous to earn His love.
We become generous because we've discovered it.
A celebration

Stewardship
Everything we have is a gift.
Jesus often spoke about stewardship.
Everything we have has first been entrusted to us.
Our time.
Our abilities.
Our relationships.
Our energy.
Our resources.
Even our finances.
None of these ultimately belong to us.
They are gifts placed into our hands for a season.
Stewardship is simply learning to care faithfully for what God has entrusted to us.
Jesus taught that those who are faithful with little can be trusted with much (Luke 16:10).
This isn't merely about receiving more possessions.
It's about becoming people God can increasingly trust with His work, His people, and His Kingdom.
Like every part of the Christian life, stewardship is one of the ways we are becoming.
Becoming the kind of people God can entrust with more life.
As we learn to steward well, our hearts are quietly transformed.
We move from ownership to gratitude.
From control to trust.
From consuming God's gifts to participating in His purposes.
Generosity is one expression of that stewardship.
It isn't something God needs from us.
It's one of the ways He forms us to become more like Himself.
